FRIDAY FAVORITES: THE 2018 ALL-STARS!

Welcome back, ladies!!  I hope your Christmases were all so merry and bright!!  We spent Christmas Day in our PJs, napping, eating, playing games, watching Christmas movies and helping the boys figure out all their Christmas gifts.  It was absolutely perfect.

And now...I'm over it all and ready to tackle the most annoying part of Christmas--un-decorating.  Boo.

But now it's all about New Year's!  And to end 2018 with a bang, I thought I'd share some of my FAVORITES from this year!  I've got everything from favorite books to favorite beauty products and everything in between.  Consider this the All-Stars of 2018.

HAPPY FRIDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!

I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away!!  It sneaks up on me every single year and it makes me sad every single year when I realize it's almost over.  Who can we write to to get the Christmas season extended?

WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY | DECEMBER 2018

Happy Wednesday, friends!  I feel like it's been a while since I've done a What's Up Wednesday post so I'm excited about today!

Want to know what I am up to right now?  Well, I'm currently propped up in my bed with a heating pad strapped to my back on the highest setting possible.  I have had back issues for several months now and since I'm more of a "just power through" type of girl instead of a "go to the doctor and get yourself fixed" type of girl, I shouldn't be surprised that my back completely rebelled last night and left me in tears for a solid 30 minutes, unable to breathe in all the way for maybe 45 and unable to MOVE for over an hour.   The entire left side of my back was in full on spasm and I part of me was wishing the pain would knock me out completely.

Today is Part 4 of this (super long) Disney recap and we were READY for Animal Kingdom!

We caught the shuttle early (about an hour and 15 minutes before the park opened).  The boys were chattering away and so ready to get there.

I am back today with our first full day at Disney World!  I talked about my prep work in Part 1 and the boys' first plane ride, my thoughts on our resort and our first night at Splitsville in Disney Springs in Part 2.  But today we're getting to the really fun stuff!



It was HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS DAY!!

If you're here for Part 3 of the Disney recap and our fun at Hollywood Studios, please come back tomorrow!  Eeeek!  I think I may have overestimated how much I could get done this week.  My paying gig has to come first (Etsy) and right now I'm working so hard to get everyone's Christmas orders sent out on time. And that has bled over into my blogging time and Daily Deals group fun and there just aren't enough hours in the day, people.  There are not enough hours.  I need a button to push to pause time so I can catch up on everything and then hit play again.  THAT'S what I need.  My life is a continual game of playing catch up.  Ugh.

Anyway, I'm very hopeful that TOMORROW I'll have our Day in the Life at Hollywood Studios post up for you!  We shall see, right?!  ;)

A DAY IN THE LIFE: DISNEY EDITION | PART 2

Welcome back, y'all!  In case you missed it, yesterday I posted Part 1 of my Disney recap series but it was mostly about the stuff that goes into the vacay before the real fun starts.

But today...the fun starts.

DISNEY WORLD | PART 1: THE PREP WORK

Oh, friends!!  I don't even know where to start with this recap!  Saying we had the BEST time at Disney World over Thanksgiving just doesn't seem to even cover it.  It was everything and more than I was hoping it would be and I now fully understand why people start jonesin' to go back the second they leave.  #gottagetthatDisneyfix

Hello Monday!

Happy Monday, y'all!!  I am working on our Disney recap right now and it's taking me FOR.EV.ER.  I have a million pictures to sort through and was planning on sitting down after church yesterday to type out Part 1 but got halfway through it and realized I could barely hold my eyes open.  Apparently, the first head cold of the season has hit me HARD and it took me down.  

I fell asleep in the most uncomfortable position right next to my laptop for a solid three hours and only woke up because I got a text saying my groceries were ready at Walmart.  So that was clue number 1 that something was up.  And within an hour after waking up, I was sneezing, stuffy and cranky.  haha

So we'll try again tomorrow on Part 1.  :)
