FRIDAY FAVORITES ❤

Happy Friday, friends! I'm back today with an installment of Friday Favorites which, I actually haven't done in forever. When did I become so bad at this?! 🙈 Regardless, I've made it happen today and I can't lie...I'm feeling pretty proud of myself for 2 posts in a row. (You can find yesterday's post HERE in case you missed it.) So settle in for some of my most random favorites from the past few weeks.

LATELY, GIRL TIME, & HOCHATOWN, OK

Hey hey, friends! I'm back today after...hmmmm...almost another month off??? #oops I clearly like to keep you guys guessing on when the next post will be. 😬

Today I'm just here to catch y'all up with some highlights from the past month and then tomorrow, I've actually got a Friday Favorites post all ready to go too. (Seriously, when is the last time I did a true Friday Favorites post?! I looked. It was September. I'm tryin', friends!)

Hopefully, this is a sign that I can get back to a routine over here. No promises though. If you're following me over on Instagram  or Facebook, that's a great way to stay caught up. I'm way more active over there.

But moving on to what's been happening over here for the past few weeks...

You guys know how much I love my girlfriends. My besties, Dani and Pam, are always down for a good chat with food and wine (or margaritas--we aren't picky) so a few weeks ago we stayed in and sat around Dani's table just talking for about 6 hours. How is it that time passes by so quickly when you're with your people? What the heck did we even talk about for 6 hours?! I know the cat got an earful. Thank goodness cats can't talk. 😉

MODERE BLACK FRIDAY!

Welcome back, y'all! Two blog posts in a row after a weeks-long hiatus?! What is happening. 😂

Unfortunately, if you're not on board our little collagen train or have absolutely no desire to learn about it, you'll probably want to skip this post. 😉 But please come back next time!! No hard feelings. ❤️

Modere's Black Friday sale starts TODAY (I'm not sure exactly what time it will go live but it will be by tonight for sure) but it's pretty huge and they are bringin' it with the sales, deals, and freebies.

UPDATE! DEALS ARE LIVE! Don't forget to hurry to put in those orders before all the goodies sell out! See them all here. REMINDER: New customers, make sure you see my name as your referral person when you register/create your account. If you don't see it automatically, type in AMANADA10. If you don't, you won't get an additional $10 off.

So my job, as your rep, is to get you all the info you need and get you set up as easily as possible. I've learned that one comprehensive blog post seems to be the easiest way to reach the masses, so here I am.

Honest to goodness, I've seen such huge changes in my body once I stopped just canceling out my supplements with bad choices. I was maintaining easily but once I started to do the things below--more water, moving more, staying away (for the most part) from bad carbs and fried foods...I saw HUGE improvements. Who knew I even had muscles still?! And yes, some of this comes from just being more responsible with lifestyle choices, for sure! But I've never been able to maintain my muscle tone while also losing weight. I've never seen the scale drop this quickly just by adding some basic workouts a few times a week. This is what it's done for my body composition.

Last month, 40 hit me hard, I'm not gonna lie. Like seriously--how am I 40?! Panic mode was turned up to high. So I decided I was going to fight this stupid aging crap with whatever I could. And now, I haven't felt like this in 20 years. Discipline, supplements, and a little bit of exercise help tremendously.

HEY STRANGERS! | HALLOWEEN, CABO, LIFE LATELY ❤

Ok, my bad. Apparently, taking a week off after my birthday led to an extended vacation from Blogland. For those of you who have commented or messaged me saying you have missed me around here...thank you! Y'all are the sweetest and it's always nice to know you've been missed. I really didn't mean to be gone so long but things just got busy busy and this blog is the one to take the hit when I have to let something go in order to save my sanity. 😉

I feel like I've got so much to catch you up on but hopefully, you've been following along over on Instagram. (I'm @amandanall.) If you haven't, here's a little peek at what's been going on in our world for the past month.

Halloween was fun! The weather was perfect and our little group of 6th-grade boys is always a good time.

FAVORITES FROM LATELY & THE BIG 4-0.

Well...it's my first blog post in my 40s, friends. I.am.40. As of October 5th.

Ooof.

But I can't complain. I've had an amazing first 40 years and I intend on the next 40 being even better!

We celebrated with a fun dinner out with friends (who Craig had called-ahem-at the very last minute) to see if they wanted to join us. Almost everyone had sports stuff going on so there weren't many who were able to come on such short notice but some of my favorite neighbors did make it and were able to surprise me!

FRIDAY FAVORITES | OUT OF QUARANTINE!

Hey, girl hey and happy Friday!!

Girls, I am coming to you today feeling like a new woman. Let.Me.Tell.You. My kids have been on lockdown over here for the past 10 days because Covid hit them early last week. And while I'm unbelievably thankful and relieved that they didn't have much more than basic cold symptoms for a few days, it was a long week and a half that really took the wind out of my sails and completely knocked me out of the new routine I'd been doing so well at since school started. 😖 Yesterday was my first day home ALONE in what was starting to feel like forever and it was so peaceful. Even the hubs, who works from home a lot, had training sessions with some of his quarterbacks all day and it felt divine having all that peace and quiet. The introvert in me was in Heaven. Ahhhh, bliss.

Also, I know I mentioned this at the end of my Book Review post HERE earlier this week but feel it's worth repeating. Both boys had weird pink streaks/pink eyes toward the beginning of their Covid issues. Isn't that random? I found lots of other local moms on a FB group saying their kids had the same thing and some of their kids tested positive and only had that one symptom. So just keep an eye out for pink eyes! 🤷‍♀️

☀ TOP 8 BOOKS OF THE SUMMER ☀

Looking for a new book, friends? I've got you covered! Today I'm rounding up some of my favorite books that I read/listened to over the summer in case you're looking for a new one. A lot of these are reviews from previous posts over the summer but I wanted my favorites to be all in one place.

HYPERPIGMENTATION HELP!

Happy SUNDAY, y'all!! What the heck? Are there even any rules to my attempts at being consistent on this blog anymore? When have I ever posted on a Sunday!?

I had this post scheduled for Monday but then I realized the sale I wanted to share ends on Monday night. And if you're like me, you hate missing a great sale by just one day. Why does that always seem to happen?! So I wanted to post a day early to give you some extra time to see it in case you want to take advantage.

Y'all know I take my skincare seriously and have my tried and true favorite brands when it comes to skincare. Colleen Rothschild products are at the top of that list and have been for quite some time. They are quality products that live up to they hype and I mean seriously, what more do you want, right? Aren't we all searching for THE cleanser/moisturizer/sunscreen/serum/etc that will just speak to us?! I found some of mine a few years ago and was hooked and I know that a ton of you ladies have discovered favorites with this brand as well. I've been singing the praises of this line way before CR ever offered to partner with me on a post like this.

Quick Detour: Yes, they gifted me some goodies and this is a sponsored post. So let's just get that out in the open right now. I still feel incredibly blessed to be working with a brand like this. As a smaller blogger, I get offered some pretty random collaborations and I always turn them down.

Case in point: Someone wanted me to do a sponsored post about China dishes one time and I had to turn them down because in what world does my family ever use fancy China? Could I have scrambled something together about a special occasion and pretended we all sat around the dinner table with candles and our China plates--and then cashed their check? Sure! (OMG would you have bought that for a second?!) But it was NOT me and there's no way I would have felt right pretending otherwise. Even on Thanksgiving, we tend to eat on heavy-duty paper plates because it's fewer dishes I have to do. 🤷‍♀️

All of that to say, I am thankful and proud to be chosen to work with this company that I'm such a fan of and I'm happy to disclose that. 😉

Now back to the Labor Day Sale! So today and tomorrow the entire site is 20% off with the code LABORDAY! Whoop!! How often does that happen?!

FRIDAY FAVORITES

Hello friends and welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites!

Let's kick it off with an "Oooooo y'all." 😂🤪😂 I'm so glad it's Friday. This week started off a little chaotic for me. Craig left last Saturday to head to Milwaukee to play in Donald Driver's annual charity softball game and golf tournament. (Craig and Donald were teammates when they were with the Packers.) But he didn't get home until Tuesday and of course, Monday just happened to be the day that we had everything. 🤪 Football practice plus back-to-back baseball games with one of the games overlapping football. It was "go go go" from the time they got off the bus at 4:50 (20 minutes late because of some crazy bus drama because of course, it had to happen that day...) until we got home at 10:30.

I won't bore you with all the details but I'll just say it takes a village, and I was so thankful for my village on Monday! We basically had a swift kick to the backside into our Fall schedule!

Anyway...

I have a quick list of Favorites for you today though so let's get to it!

FRIDAY FAVORITES

Welcome FRIDAY!! We just survived our first full week of the new school year so today feels extra good! Baseball is back, football is back, homework, bedtime and early mornings are back, and daily showers are definitely back. Sorry boys...jumping in the pool no longer counts as a shower. 😉

Chuck loves mornings and having all 4 of us in the living room first thing in the morning is his favorite time of day. (Except when Matthew comes home from school. Did you see the video I posted on my IG stories last night of Chuck waiting for Matthew to get off the bus? Be still my heart.)

He hates watching them walk away though.

Both boys are loving their new teachers and each one already has a couple of favorites. Mason has transitioned to middle school seamlessly which I never doubted for a minute. That kid has no fear or anxiety about anything. He's loving the bigger selection in the cafeteria especially. 😂

FRIDAY FAVORITES: END OF SUMMER EDITION ☀

Goodbye, Summer! Hello...ok well not Fall. Not yet. But hello, new school year!

Right now our temps are soaring although they don't feel quite as hot as they have been in past years. We actually had a pretty mellow summer for Texas. I'm not even sure we've had any days over 100 degrees. (We probably have and I just chose to stay inside that day. 😂 Also, does talking about the weather bore you to tears? Yes? Ok, I'll move on.)

WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY | JULY 2021

Well, hey there, friends! Ummm...so I definitely didn't mean to take a 2 week blogging break! 🥴 I think I've started to realize that summer is almost over so I've been trying to enjoy it a little more before it has just completely passed me by. Over the past two weeks, we've made time for lemonade stands, fun outings with friends, water parks, girls nights out, a little overhaul of my office/craft room space, pool time...and I've been trying to stay caught up on Etsy orders before we leave for our little vacay next week!

In the 9 months I've been with the company (has it been that long?!), I have never seen them put the Biocell on sale. So take advantage because they are also giving you an expensive free gift with purchase! But first, did you see my big Skincare post from last week? Don't forget to head on over there if you haven't checked it out yet! It ties into this too but it also has plenty of non-Modere products as well.

LET'S TALK...SKINCARE. | GET YOUR GLOW ON!

Ahhhh! I'm so excited about today's topic! It's all about skincare!! I've had people ask if I still use xyz from previous skincare posts I've done in the past and most of the time the answer is YES. I've found stuff I love, stuff that works for me and I tend to be pretty loyal. However, I do try out new products every once in a while and find something else I love just as much or even more, so I wanted to do an updated skincare post if you girls need recommendations.

RETURN OF THE GIANT WATERSLIDE | BIRTHDAY BASH 2021

Last week we finally got around to celebrating the boys' birthdays the right way. I threw this party together just days before and really didn't stress (much) at all. I did not bake a thing, I did not send out invitations 2 weeks in advance, there were no party favors. We just went old school pool party with the basics--pizza and sweets. We just upgraded the average slip-n-slide to this monstrosity. 😉

Not that you need a step-by-step process for how to throw your kid a birthday party but if you're curious as to how ours went down, here ya go.

FRIDAY FAVORITES! | 6/25/21

Happy Weekend, friends!!

I'm back today with a list of FAVORITES from the week and I mean, I'm clearly biased, but I think it's a pretty great list. 😉 From a movie you need to watch this weekend to a book you need to read (or listen to) to cute outfits (and a BOGO free sale) and some giant waterslide fun... it's a little mix of everything!

Let's get to it!

GIVEAWAY WINNER & FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND.

On Saturday morning, I woke up late and found Mason and Craig already in the pool. I went outside to see what they were up to and when I came outside they started to look at each other and smile like they had a secret. They said "Guess what? We've got something to tell you that we think you'll like."

I said, "Did we win the lottery?!".  😂

They said, "No but it may be something almost as good! We're going to Louisiana this weekend and you can stay here if you want to!". Turns out Craig had decided at the last minute that he wanted to drive to his parents' house in Alexandria, LA (about 5 hours from us) and surprise his dad for Father's Day. Remember them doing this last year and I was the one with the surprise when they got home?! (See: Chuck the Rescue Pup. 😉) Best surprise ever!!

This year, I was happy they were going to go again because they love it there and they get to see their cousins. They also said they were going to take Chuck which I was not super happy about because I see him as the baby of the family and I worry. 😂 I'm his main caretaker so I'm nervous when he's not where I can see him. But Charlie just LOVES Mimi and his "aunt" Sadie (their poodle) so I knew he'd have fun too.

I had plans with friends that night already and had a ton of errands I needed to get done this weekend before the boys' birthday party today plus I needed to get a few more plants to round out our new landscaping. I've been putting it off for 2 weeks because I hate that kind of thing but it needed to be done. And also, I love having the house all to myself so I was happy to the opportunity!

PHOTO DUMP & CATCHING UP | 5TH GRADE GRADUATION, A POOL PARTY, & MEMORIAL DAY

Hello, Monday!!

Today I'm here with a giant photo dump from all the things that have been photo-worthy lately. If you follow me on social media, there will probably be a lot that you've seen already but for posterity's sake, I wanted to put them on the blog too. :) I know I won't want to forget these sweet memories.

Mason "graduated" from elementary school this year and it has been bittersweet. We absolutely loved this school and it is just surreal to know that it is no longer a part of our lives. I have so many memories of the boys riding their bikes or scooters to school in the morning and then watching out the window as they come riding into the culdesac every afternoon. When Matthew went to middle school it was just Mason by himself or with his gang of buddies and now...no one. 😢 I'll look out the window and watch younger kids come riding down the sidewalk and wait for the bus to drop my two big kids off at our stop sign. Sigh.

The school had a very sweet little ceremony for the 5th graders and we were so glad we got to be there for it. I don't think they had one last year for the 5th-grade class due to Covid so we were thankful!

BOOK REVIEW | APRIL & MAY 2021

Hello to all you Summer Readers!! Remember how I broke down my Ultimate Summer Reading List HERE back in April? I grabbed the top new releases that I was excited to read and compiled a list for each month so they'd be easy to narrow down. Well, I've done my best to read as many from each month's list as possible and ended up finishing 9 books. One of them didn't deserve to make the list in my opinion (Lost in Paris...just didn't like it but everyone else seemed to on the reviews so maybe it just didn't work for me) and then I added in one that WASN'T on my list but WAS a new release.

WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY | MAY 2021

Welcome back to What's Up Wednesday, friends! It is the first WUW of the summer for us here in Mckinney and I'm pretty dang excited. School let out really early for us this year (May 21st) because our district decided to add on 7 minutes to each school day so we could get out a week earlier. #genius

I think we are all fully on board with this plan for next year as well.

I feel like I have SO MUCH I want to blog about but just never get around to it so I'm going to see what all I can squeeze in here today. Want to know a secret? Blog posts take me HOURS to do. 😂 I'm pretty sure it should not take that long for normal people but for me, it does. It doesn't help that I can be a little wordy (I write how I talk--out loud and in my head...) and that I get easily distracted (my browser currently has 33 tabs open). But when I say hours I don't mean like 2. I mean like 4....on a good day.

If you're new around here, hi and welcome! On the last month of every Wednesday, I link up with my friends Sheaffer and Shay and we chat about what we've been up to this month in all kinds of areas-food, fashion, fun, family, and everything in between.

(UPDATE: Someone pointed out my "last month of every Wednesday" mistake above and after a really good laugh, I've decided to leave it. Too funny. 🤣)

Right. Ok, let's get into it, shall we?!

FRIDAY FAVORITES | HELLO SUMMER!

You guys! It has been a whirlwind of a week over here! School is OUT!! Mason "graduated" (or whatever they call it) from 5th grade and is now a middle-schooler! And my firstborn baby turned 13! I have a teenager, y'all! What the actual heck?!! Am I even old enough for that?!

(🤣 Don't answer that.)

I'm going to save the graduation and birthday stuff for their own full posts next week and today I'm going to focus on Friday Favorites!

RAINY WEEKEND, END OF SCHOOL, & A SORE MAMA.

Do you see what I see, friends? The finish line. That's what I see. We are 4 days away from SUMMER BREAK and I'm over here bouncing back and forth between super pumped and super sad. Pumped because SUMMER of course but sad because our family is saying goodbye to the elementary school that we have loved and been a part of for the last 8 years. Mason is "graduating" from 5th grade this week and then that's it. I'll officially have 2 middle-schoolers and as if they weren't enough to make me sob into my pillow, on Wednesday, one of those will become an official TEENAGER. 😩😩😩 #makeitstop

Seriously. If you need me, I'll be curled up in the fetal position crying on the floor of my closet. It's too much.

MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND | 2021

Happy Tuesday, friends!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a very relaxing couple of days where I got basically nothing productive accomplished other than a couple of loads of laundry and I took some new product pictures for the Etsy shop. As much as I hate wasting a weekend, I felt like it was exactly how I wanted to celebrate Mother's Day weekend this time around so I'm glad I didn't push myself to get all the things on my list done.

Here's a quick recap of the weekend. :)

Friday after school, Mason came riding up the driveway on his scooter carrying a crape myrtle! Every year, each 5th grader in Mckinney ISD is gifted a crape myrtle just in time for Mother's Day. How cool is that?! Matthew's is planted out in our backyard and is somehow thriving even after that super harsh winter storm we had. I'm hoping this one is just as tough because I tend to kill all the plants under my supervision. (Except weeds. They seem to love me.)

BIRTHDAY TWINS BIRTHDAY WEEK | 11 & 42.

I was M.I.A. here last week for a good reason (for once!). We celebrated two birthdays, my in-laws came to town for the week, we had league games on Tuesday & Wednesday, a tournament on the weekend, and Craig was out of town. Plus it rained and was cold but I'm not sure that counts as an excuse. ;)

But I'm here to recap our week because we packed a lot of fun in and made some sweet memories with the grandparents!

All the activity kicked off on Tuesday. Craig's parents arrived from Alexandria, LA (about 5 hours away) so they could be here to help celebrate both Craig and Mason's birthdays the next day. (They are birthday twins!) And they always love to take in some games while they are here which is a good thing because there was a whole lot of that going on.

Tuesday night, Matthew had a game while Mason had a highly nutritious ballpark meal consisting of a hot dog, a coke, and some sour straws. I'm not even going to pretend we ate well this week. #dontjudgeme 🙈

THE ULTIMATE SUMMER READING LIST | 2021 NEW RELEASES

Hey hey, friends! Today's post is all about TWO of my favorite subjects:

BOOKS & SUMMER!!

I know it's only mid-April but thankfully all the authors I love so much start releasing their new novels around this time every year which always gets me in the mood for warm weather, sunshine, vacations, beach time, and lounging in the shade with a good book.

For me, I'm an audiobook girl 99% of the time because I love to multitask when I'm doing things I find tedious or, let's face it, kind of annoying...like when I'm doing endless amounts of laundry, driving around town running errands, doing dishes, brushing my teeth, doing my makeup/hair...you get the idea. I just love the way a good narrator can bring a story to life and make even the mundane chores something I actually look forward to because I know I'll have my book.

I know audiobooks aren't for everyone though and I get it. It can be hard to focus sometimes. After being an avid listener for over a decade, I've trained my brain pretty well on this though. However, when the weather warms up and the sun shines well into the evening, I love nothing more than to sit poolside or cozied up in my sunroom with my Kindle and just read.

I know there are a ton of you out there who love a good summer read. Whether you are someone who reads 50 books a year or you are someone who just wants a few options to throw in your pool bag this summer or take on vacation in case you get bored enough to crack up open a book, I have got you covered, friends!

I compiled a list of upcoming new releases by some of my favorite authors in women's fiction. There are books in both the "chick lit" and "psychological thriller" categories which are my two favorites! I've got them broken down by the month they are set to be released and will link each one under the picture so you can click over and check it out, add it to your cart for pre-order so you don't forget, add it to your Goodreads account or just pin the pic so you'll have it to refer back to!

So without further ado, here are the books I've picked for my summer reading!

APRIL

1. Life's Too Short by Abby Jimenez (Book #3 in The Friend Zone series). OUT NOW.
*Note: I've already listened to this one and it was a home run!!! LOVED it!
6. Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle. Released April 6th--available now!

UPDATE: Lost in Paris--not worth it. Skip it. The audio version is not good so maybe it's better if you read it? But 99% of the narrators in the books I listen to are amazing. But this one wasn't great only because she had to switch to speaking English with a French and Scottish accent frequently and it was TERRIBLE. Super distracting. But even if you read it, I don't think you'll love it.

The Good Sister--two thumbs up!

MAY

1. The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews. Release date: May 4th
2. Family Reunion by Nancy Thayer. Release date: May 4th
4. The Summer Job by Lizzy Dent. Release date: May 18th
*I put the wrong book cover in my collage in case you are wondering. I guess they went with a different one than what I found originally.
5. That Summer by Jennifer Weiner. Release date: May 11th
7. Lost Property by Helen Paris. Release date: May 13th
*Can't find this one on Amazon yet so I linked to Goodreads.

JUNE

1. When Stars Collide by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. (Part of the Chicago Stars series. LOVE this series.) Release date: June 29th.
2. Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand. Release date: June 1st
3. Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Release date: June 1st
4. The Road Trip by Beth O'Leary. Release date: June 1st
5. One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. Release date: June 1st
6. Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins. Release date: June 8th

JULY

2. The Therapist by B.A. Paris. Release date: July 13th

What is on your "definitely reading this one" list for the summer? Let me know, especially if I missed one that you're looking forward to and I completely skipped!

Changing subjects real quick.

Sorry to constantly be talking about this but it's the only way I can communicate with all 360+ customers of mine and all you new friends who may be interested! #forgiveme #butdangthisstuffisgood

But this is for all my collagen peeps--new, old and future! There is a HUGE new collagen flash sale that starts tonight at 7pm central and will run until the 15th. I'm talking $20 off Trim collections (the fat-blasting collagen!) PLUS a FREE BOX OF GO valued at $45!! (Go is our energy and focus drink mix that comes in 3 flavors and you'll get a variety pack so you can try them all--FOR FREE!)

Friendly tip? Don't order until the sale starts! But DO NOT WAIT until the last day! The free Go is available "while supplies last" and it will not last the whole time.

If you have been contemplating the Lean Body System or Trim because you know you need a little help getting summer ready, I would love to talk to you and get you hooked up with this promo! There is no better time to do it, friends. I feel fairly confident saying you won't see another promo on the Trim/Lean Body System like this until probably November for Black Friday. (I could be wrong so don't hold me to that but from what I know, this is the biggest it's going to get for a while!)

We also have insane bundles that can save you over $100 on all the products you've been wanting to try. I'm going to try to create a separate post today that talks about all this for those of you who are interested but if you want to make sure you get in first, I'm just one DM away on Instagram, y'all! Find me @amandanall or on FB at Amanda Crain Nall.

Also, if you have a smartship that is set to run this month with a Trim collection, MESSAGE ME about that too! I can show you what to do so you can take advantage of the promo, save money and get that free box of GO! If you already had your smartship run, you can still grab this too and we can push your smartship back for next month.  There are ways we can do this but one-on-one messaging is the easiest. I'm here and my thumbs are ready to type so don't hesitate. :)

If you want a reminder of what the Lean Body System can do, here's my friend Haley. I've probably shown you her results before but watching her transformation is what got me started in the first place and I thought it might do the same for you. Plus I like posting pictures of people I know in real life and trust when they tell me what they did and didn't do to get these results. She did not work out during all this. She just lived her life as a teacher and busy mama to a 13yo, 10yo and sweet foster baby which definitely keeps her active!

It took a lot for her to post these but I'm so glad she did! Her before and after show exactly what these products. Help inhibit fat storage and increase lean muscle. Can you eat like a linebacker and still look this good? No. But you don't have to starve yourself either. Just eat normal, move around a little and let the supplements SUPPLEMENT your lifestyle! Give it a fair shot and you may just be surprised. ;)

UPDATE: CLICK HERE TO READ ALL THE DEETS ABOUT THE PROMO!! I figured one solid post about it would be easier than 300 DMs. ;)

Ok, I'm off to work on Etsy orders that need to go out today (including a cute new sign for a daycare center!) and get some new Amazon finds posted in the Deals Group!

Happy Tuesday, y'all!

FRIDAY FAVORITES | SPRING EDITION

HELLO FRIDAY!!

Welcome back to another edition of Friday Favorites! It's time for that weekly random assortment of fun faves and finds with my girls Erika and Andrea!

Ladies, we are now officially into Spring, and I am starting to feel all the Spring vibes. Are you? Every year at this time, I get the itch to spring clean, organize and spruce up my house/redecorate it ALL. 🤦‍♀️ So it comes as no surprise that some of my faves revolve around that this week.

Let's look...

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The other day I posted my new plan for spring flowers in my Instagram stories. I'm going faux, girls. Don't judge me. I'm going to own this decision.

WEEKEND WARRIORS.

Happy Tuesday, friends! I've been meaning to do some catch up posting over here and wanted to start with our weekend! Crazy, busy, eventful, fun, cold...all words to describe it. Words that wouldn't describe it would be: warm, relaxing, calm...you get the idea. ;)

We have had nothing but relaxing weekends for months though because when it's not baseball season, we just don't have a lot going on that we have to run here and there for. Our idea of a relaxing weekend involves the boys running around the neighborhood with their buddies while Craig golfs (when he's not at a football camp) and I clean, organize, find a project and/or go to Hobby Lobby or Target and buy a bunch of stuff I just know I have to have to help me clean, organize or help with said project. 😂

This weekend not that. It was go go go!

On Friday afternoon, my parents drove in from Texarkana (about 2.5 hours away) to spend the weekend with us since both boys had their pre-season baseball tournaments. They grew up watching me and my brother play (my dad was my coach until I was 18) and we had tournaments almost every weekend during the summers. In softball, it wasn't unusual for us to play 4 or 5 games in one day and I even remember starting championship games at midnight! (What in the world?!) Thankfully, we haven't had a baseball tournament that nuts (yet).

💚LUCKY DAY GIVEAWAY!!💚

Hey hey hey! It's GIVEAWAY DAY!!

Ok, so technically, I should have posted this yesterday if I'm going to title it "Lucky Day Giveaway" but I wasn't able to until today and the title is just too catchy to change. So yep. A day late and a dollar short on that but we're going to roll with it! ;)
