I know a lot of you guys are new readers and haven't heard much about that part of my life so I thought it'd be fun to answer some of the questions you asked in my IG stories and give you a little glimpse into what life looked like for us back then!

WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY | JANUARY 2021

Happy Wednesday, friends!! Today I'm linking up with my friends Shay and Sheaffer for What's Up Wednesday for the first time since MAY!! What in the world?! I had no idea it had been so long since I've done this link-up and it's one of my favorites!! I'm going to try not to miss one this year but then again...I  make no promises when it comes to my blogging. 😂

FRIDAY FAVORITES #153

Yesssss! Happy Friday, yall!

My weekend plans include a lot of organizing and purging more crap from my house and possibly doing a little home decor shopping. (So basically I'm going to be making room for new crap.) Does anyone else always feel the urge to go buy things for their homes after you take down Christmas stuff? I feel like everything just looks so boring! 😂 I got a Hobby Lobby gift card from my mother-in-law for Christmas so I may go put that to use tomorrow. 

SNOW DAY!!

Ok, so I may be reaching a little by naming this post "Snow Day" but technically, snow fell from the sky here in Mckinney, so we're going to count it, k?

We get teased with snow a couple of times every winter and rarely does it come to fruition. So when we heard snow might be showing up this past weekend, we all kind of just collectively held our breath to see what would actually happen.

On Saturday, we played outside (in the freezing cold) on bikes and scooters. Craig got me a bike for Christmas (first time I've gotten a bike on Christmas morning in 30 years!) and the boys think it's so fun when I ride around with them. Until they are ready for their turn steal my bike. 😂

BEST OF 2020 | FAVORITES

Welcome back, friends! I've been wanting to share this "best of" list for a while now but I keep adding to it. I figured I just need to get it posted though b/c I've got a lot of favorites. It's hard to narrow them down. 

So these were favorites from 2020 in all different categories from entertainment to fashion to beauty products. So let's dive in!!

FAVORITE BINGE WATCHES

This one was really hard for me. I have watched SO MANY shows in 2020, as we all have. But when I thought about it, these were the ones that jumped out at me first so I went with my gut.

My #1 binge-watch of 2020 was The Queen's Gambit. I could not get enough. I was completely drawn in. I loved everything about it. The sets, the characters, the fashion, the story...it was fascinating and so well done!! Yes, the first episode is a bit rough in the foul language department but it gets better after that. This one just stayed with me and I knew as soon as it was over, I would be naming it my favorite of 2020.

CHRISTMAS-PART 2

Hey hey, friends!! Happy New Year!!! I pray you guys all had the best Christmas and New Years and are ready for an exponentially better year in 2021. I know I am!

So last week, I posted Part 1 of our Christmas (you can find that here) and am finally back with Part 2-Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! It has been rough trying to get back into the swing of things with the blog, the Deals Group, the Etsy shop and everything else. I really tried to take a break from it all when I just wasn't up for it and it felt great! But it's time to get back to it!

So welcome to our Christmas. :)

Last year on Christmas Eve, I surprised Matthew with a small Chick-fil-A nugget tray of his own and he LOVED it. He's a picky eater but he will destroy some CFA nuggets. So this is always a favorite gift! We did it again in May for his surprise "favorite things in quarantine" birthday and it's apparently become a little tradition. So around lunch time on Christmas Eve, I ran up to CFA to grab Matthew's first Christmas gift (and lunch for the rest of us).
