HAPPY FRIDAY!!

We have one more week of school until Spring Break over here so let the countdown begin!  

As always, we aren't going anywhere over the break though. Womp womp.  So I'm not sure what I'm getting all excited about.  Maybe I'm excited to hear my kids tell me "I'm bored" 12,000 times a day while simultaneously stuffing empty Cheez-It wrappers behind couch cushions and leaving half-drunk cups of milk all over the house.  I mean, yeah, maybe. That must be it. 😉

Ahhhh! Totally ran out of time to post this to Friday Favorites after my try-on sesh at Loft yesterday afternoon and before I had to start getting ready for my fun GNO to go see the #imomsohard ladies!  But this sale is so good and it's the perfect time to stock up for spring (while all the good stuff is still in stock!) that I had to post randomly in the middle of the day, which I hardly ever do.  But I didn't want you to miss it if you also love Loft and love snagging $60 shirts for $30.  🙋‍♀️

VALENTINE'S & AMAZON FINDS | FF #120

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

I'm back today with a list of Friday Favorites and I'm ready to get started because I've got a hot date with my hubby. ;) Ok, maybe it's more like a movie date at the "fancy" movie theater in the middle of the day while the kids are at school but still.  haha  We're beating the crowds so that's how we roll!  We'll spend tonight with the boys doing family stuff which I'm guessing will include our favorite family movie night tradition and just maybe they'll let me pick the movie this time!

Anyway, let's get started with Favorite #1...

Do you guys remember the excitement of Valentine's Day when you were a little girl?  (Sorry boys...if there are any of you reading this.  I know Valentine's Day probably wasn't quite as magical for y'all as it was for us.)  But I remember how much fun it was to make my Valentine's box on the days leading up to V-Day (usually in class) and picking out the PERFECT box of Valentine cards to pass out to my classmates.  I'd agonize over who got which specific card and then overanalyze what each card I received might mean...especially from the cute boys.  (4th & 5th grade specifically on that one!  And this overanalyzing thing just got worse as the years went on..haha.)  

Now I realize that not only did those 4th and 5th-grade boys not care ONE SINGLE BIT which card I got, their moms probably did it all themselves anyway. 😂  But not me.  I was always very hands-on when it came to this romantic holiday.

Hello Tuesday! I thought I'd go with a little "currently" post today because I haven't done a random life roundup lately.  So this is kind of a "What I'm currently...loving/wearing/doing/dealing with" etc. 

I posted this picture after church last Sunday in my Deals Group because I am obsessed with this velvet cardigan.  It's slinky and silky on the inside and super duper soft on the outside. Happpppyyy Friday, friends!!

I'm back today with another roundup of Friday Favorites!  So glad to see another weekend!  It's been a chilly week here in Mckinney and we even had a small chance for snow on Wednesday...that did not happen.  Boo.  We had some sleet but that was it.  However, it was rainy and COLD for most of the week which gave me all the excuses to wear all my warmest and most comfy clothes and I do love that.  (Can I also point out that it was almost 80 just days before the snow that didn't happen? Crazy TX weather.)

Short post today just to say that I'm too busy to blog because I'm completely engrossed in Jessica Simpson's new book, Open Book! I've been listening to it all day while I work, while I cook dinner, while I wash my face, do laundry.  I can't stop.
