FRIDAY FAVORITES | HELLO SUMMER!

You guys! It has been a whirlwind of a week over here! School is OUT!! Mason "graduated" (or whatever they call it) from 5th grade and is now a middle-schooler! And my firstborn baby turned 13! I have a teenager, y'all! What the actual heck?!! Am I even old enough for that?!

(🤣 Don't answer that.)

I'm going to save the graduation and birthday stuff for their own full posts next week and today I'm going to focus on Friday Favorites!

Over the past few weeks, Mason and I have started watching The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (Disney+) together on weekend nights. Mason is the kid who is "soooo boooorrreeeddd" if he's not doing something every second of the day. So when he said he wanted to watch a movie with me one night while Craig was out of town, I clicked off what I was watching immediately and started searching for something we could watch together. We all love the Mighty Ducks movies so I wanted to give this a shot too and it's super cute.

Lauren Graham (aka Lorelai Gilmore) stars as the mom/coach of the "No Bothers" team that is made from an eclectic set of kids just trying to fit in. Coach Gordon Bombay is the owner of the ice rink that they practice at and is down on his luck, a has-been, and an afterthought when it comes to the Ducks franchise.

In one episode, all the old Ducks come in for a little reunion, we were pretty pumped. Now that we are caught up, we have to wait for one new epside to drop every Friday night instead of binging several at a time. Why do that to us, Disney?! Dang.

Ok, movies. I haven't watched any great movies lately. Anyone have any suggestions for the weekend?? I did watch The Farewell the other day with Awkwafina because I think she's hysterical. ("Asian Ellen" from Crazy Rich Asians.) It was good but it was more of a Sundance Film Festival kind of good so if you're into those kind of movies, you might want to check it out!

I'll tell you something though...I am so ready to go back to the movie theater!!! I will go see anything. I may even go this weekend. I have no idea

OMgosh y'all. I have been on a huge book binge lately.

Right this second, I am in the middle of...

Local Woman Missing. And it is 😲😲😲 right from the start. This is a brand new release from Mary Kubica and I had JUST started People We Meet On Vacation but was just in the mood for a thriller. So I'll go back to PYMOV when I finish this one. This one is about a local woman who goes missing. Another woman who goes missing. A little girl who goes missing and 11 years later is found. It's just getting started and I'm completely hooked. Pick this one up! (Also, for those of you wondering, the audiobook narrator is great!)

Lately, I've been all about trying to get my pale self tan again. This is my go-to pair for getting my face some color while also working on those fine lines and wrinkles. The Cellproof Moisturizer is my FAVORITE moisturizer ever ($10 off your first order!) and the Isle of Paradise drops are awesome. I add 2-3 drops to my moisturizer at night and it gives me a great little glow when I wake up in the morning. I use it every 3 days or so. Add more drops for a deeper tan or less to go lighter. Super easy and gives a flawless application!

I bought these metal storage bins the other day after seeing them on another influencers account. They come in several different colors and are stackable. Super cute in a playroom or craftroom!

Perfect for holding my scrap vinyl and my ready-to-paint wood boards.

And yes, I have two benches stacked on top of each other for a sort of shelving unit here in my craftroom. They did go with the table we moved up here when we made this into my little "office" but I quickly realized they were better this way than as benches in this small space. #thinkoutsidethebox As I said in my Deals Group this week, it is a hodge podge of randomness in here. 😂 My craft room is definitely not meant for Pinterest.

I love to share the Home Chef meals we love with you guys and this week we tried the steak tacos and they were fantastic. I love Home Chef because 1) it's easy and I don't have to think about it 2) it pairs things that I would never think of and makes me level up my super basic palette. 😂

I would have never thought to add cream cheese to my corn and peppers before putting them in the oven or adding a spicy dressing to my coleslaw and topping it with crispy jalapeno strings. It was amazing.

You can go through my link HERE and get $35 off when you sign up if you want. I love that I can go on and pick and choose what I want shipped to me for the next 4-6 weeks. A lot of the time, I'll skip a week entirely if I don't like any of the menu offerings. And then sometimes I'll want it all and end up with a ton of great meals coming in that week. I love that you have complete control over it. The only catch is that you have to remember to go in and edit it or it'll automatically send it. So I put a reminder on my phone, set it for a month and then I don't have to worry about it again for awhile. Easy.

I shared a lot of great pics on IG already (@amandanall) but I'm going to save the rest for a future post. But how sweet is my baby boy on his 5th grade graduation day, y'all?! We had the best day!

I LOVE this duster!!! I love any duster actually and they look super cute with jeans, shorts or a swimsuit. You can find this one here. (I'm wearing a small.)

And Matthew's birthday was Wednesday and he's officially a TEENAGER!!! We will celebrate bigger in June but he had a sweet day that started with surprise birthday donuts and ended with the hoverboard he'd been wanting. He's a pretty easy to please kid. 💙

The skinny tumblers are back in stock and they are just so beautiful in real life! Almost all have a shimmer to them which is so pretty when the sun hits them AND they keep your drink nice and cold while you're out running errands or sitting by the pool summer.

I've also got that new collection of standard-sized metal can coolers if you've been looking for those! I kept one of the pretty skinny ones for my Truly cans and a standard-size for my Coke Zero cans. ;)

Sarah had the same idea, I think!

And that is about it for today, girls. It has been a long week and we are SO ready for all things summer! We are kicking things off next week with baseball and football camp, some baseball games and hopefully a few other fun surprises!

Happy Friday!!
