Happy Monday, y'all! Hope you all had a great weekend! Our weekend was uneventful for the most part. Lots of playing outside in this crazy warm Texas weather! I think we are scheduled for a cool down though early this week. As much as I love the warm weather, it's hard to feel fully festive when it's 75 degrees outside.
I know Monday usually brings some Monday Blues for me and a lot of you. But I am actually really excited about this week because we have so much fun stuff planned!
So what's going on this week you ask??
Here's a quick rundown of some of the stuff I'm looking forward to.
Monday:
One word.
Bravo.
#iloveyouBravo
Y'all, tonight the new season of Vanderpump Rules starts and I cannot tell you how happy that makes me. I love all the ridiculous drama between this group! It will suck you in and leave you wanting more every week. Crazy, gorgeous, young, drunk and stupid is a fantastic combo for reality television. #andtheybringitall
And if that wasn't enough, Bravo decided to combine two of my other favorite reality shows. And it starts tonight.
Southern Charm + The Bachelor = RelationShep
Oh. my. goodness.
Southern Charm is in my top 3 favorite reality shows of all time. And in case you are dying to know, Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of NY are the other two. But RHONY can be interchanged with New Jersey, Beverly Hills or the OC for certain seasons. If you are a fellow Housewives fan, you understand.
And for a bit of randomness, my favorite game show of all time is Supermarket Sweep. I just had to throw that out there.
But I digress.
So if you aren't familiar with Southern Charm (seriously, go watch it!), then you probably have no idea who Shep is. But he is a bachelor. He's from an extremely wealthy family so he doesn't work. #trustfundbaby And he is a notorious party animal and ladies man. But he's also sweet and kind and could be a good catch with some help. He says he's finally ready to settle down so the premise of this show is finding someone who is in it for the right reasons. Or whatever.
He's going to travel across the nation being set up by friends with different women. The ones he likes, he'll invite back to live in this giant house with all his other women in Charleston and they'll duke it out Bachelor-style. From what I can tell anyway.
I just know I will be watching and rooting for Shep to find "the one". #youcandoitShep #juststopafter2beers
Tuesday:
If it's possible, I may be even more excited about Tuesday night TV than I am Monday. But only for one reason.
Tuesday night, my friends are going to be on FIXER UPPER. They are the family getting their house fixed up!!
EEEEEEEKKKKKK!!!
I've known about this for over a year now and am so stinkin' excited to finally see the house! They haven't been able to show any pictures of it until the episode airs so I'm dying to see it!
Tim and Gayle used to live across the street from our culdesac. They have two kids and one of them, Kenzie, used to babysit Matthew and Mason and they just loved her. And this is no lie when I say I pray that my future daughters-in-law are just like Kenzie. I literally use Kenzie's name in my prayers when praying for my kids' future wives. As in "God please let their wives be just like Kenzie Jackson." She's that precious. And so is her mama. :) (And she's also no longer a Jackson because she got snatched up already. Darn it.)
The Jackson family is one of those families that you can't help but just ADORE. They are sweet, funny, smart, kind, hard-workers and live their faith out loud. They moved to Austin a few years ago and then Kenzie ended up getting a job in Waco at the Silos when they first opened. She was just a teenager. 17ish I think?
Kenzie and Tim both work for Magnolia now and in big ways. I can't begin to tell you what their titles and job descriptions are because I'll mess it up but Tim is something really high up with the finance side of things and Kenzie has worked her way up the ranks quickly and now works with Jo. #dreamjob
So be sure to set your DVR's for tomorrow night's Fixer Upper!! We are going to have a little watch party with the boys. They can't believe that Kenzie KNOWS Chip and Joanna! They are amazed so this will be fun for them too.
Wednesday:
Basketball practice. That's all I can think of. Next.
Thursday:
It's Parent's Night Out! Craig and I are going to a little party at a friend's house Thursday night and I can't wait!! Give me good friends, lots of laughs, most likely a few inappropriate jokes and a festive house and I am a happy girl. ;)
Friday:
On Friday night, we have another Christmas party to go to! This one is my friend's across the street and it's an Ugly Sweater Party. Two parties in two days?! #partyanimal
I picked up a couple of ugly sweaters at Walmart last night because I didn't want to spend a fortune on ugly clothing and I was already there buying ink for my printer for the millionth time. We have another ugly sweater party in a couple of weeks so I needed two.
I haven't taken pictures of my sweaters yet but I did manage to snap a picture of these because I couldn't wait to put them on.
I snatched these up at Walmart for less than $5. They are so soft it's impossible to even describe. And they have those little rubber dots on the bottom so you aren't able to accidentally get your Risky Business on.
They would make a great little gift. But make sure to get your own pair too. And even if they fall apart by spring, they were $5. #justthankmelater
Saturday:
Mason has his first basketball game of the season. Matthew is going to the movies with a friend. And then we are all meeting up with everyone in downtown Mckinney for the Christmas Parade!! We love a Mckinney parade, friends. And the Christmas parade is always so fun!
I was looking for pictures from last year and this one always makes me laugh. Check out our photobomber in the background! (Brooke's husband, Tyler and their daughter.)
So that's our week! Now as long as I can manage to get all these orders out on time, I will be good to go. I will reopen again soon so make sure to "Favorite" my shop! You'll get a notification (I think?) once it opens back up.
If you want to follow along with our week, you can find me on Instagram @amandanall and in my Facebook group here.
Happy Monday, friends!
That is so cool that you have an inside scoop on Fixer Upper. I can't wait to see their home! Have a wonderful week. And yea for cooler Tx temperatures this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a FUN week and I can't wait to see Fixer Upper tomorrow night!! SO COOL!! and 2 Christmas parties this week! You are a party animal ;)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! How cool about your friends! Annnnd, I'm still laughing at that first graphic with the dog :) .
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a FUN and FESTIVE week!!
ReplyDeleteYour week sounds AWESOME!!! So freaking cool about your friends being on Fixer Upper and knowing Jo!!!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to watch Relationshep...LOVE HIM and LOVE Southern charm. Too cool about the Fixer Upper episode, I might just have to record it. And yes, Tim and Kenzie have the dream jobs.
ReplyDeleteLove Supermarket Sweep lol
ReplyDeleteGive me all the RHW shows. Love them, Love Souther Charm.....undecided about Sheps' show. And I love me some VanderPump Rules! I have several girlfriends who go to LA and have eaten at SUR and Villa Blanca and I keep saying I want to but we rarely go to LA! Also, can't wait to see your friends on Fixer Upper tomorrow night! (was going to abbreviate but felt FU might be slightly inappropriate! HAHA!) I feel like we would be bestie's IRL except I am way older then you and my kids are all grown and have flown the coop! Also, our town's christmas parade is this Thursday and my amazingly sweet and awesome hubby was asked to the Grand Marshal !! I am practicing my Queen wave as we speak because hello...we all know behind every good man is an even better wife! HA! So excited to sit next to him in a cool refurbished convertible Hudson (not sure what year) and see the parade from a different view point! Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember if I've talked about and posted my pictures of my trips to L.A. or not. But I went with a girlfriend (twice) and we went to Sur one time and they were filming. We met most of the cast and ended up in the background on one of the scenes! And the other time we went, we went to Pump. (It was right after it opened.) Maybe I should do a post on my appearance on Vanderpump Rules. ;)
DeleteAbosfreakinglutely!!! So very cool! Its still on my LA BucketList but apparently its not even anywhere on my hubby's radar! LOL
