Our Weekend & Target Finds.

Hey friends!  Today I've got a photo dump for you and a little life lately!

Our pool is officially open!  The neighborhood boys all head to our house after school every day for water gun fights, nerf wars and lots of "Can you text my mom to see if I can swim?".  Ha!

We could not have asked for more when it comes to the perfect neighborhood for our family.  It is busting at the seams with boys!

Our sweet Odie is still kickin'.  His back legs give out a lot when he bends over to drink his water and his feet slip and slide out from under him as well.  So we put down this bath mat to help him out and it has worked so well.

We also noticed that he was constantly walking right through the bowl.  We were cleaning up spilled water multiple times a day.  So I had the bright idea to use one of the boys' camo Easter buckets to hold the water bowl and it has been great!  No more walking through it, no more bending down so far to drink and way less spilled water.  It doesn't exactly make our home HGTV-worthy but it helps this old boy.

I'm doing the #photoadayinmay2018 challenge with Erika and Shay on Instagram (I'm @amandanall) and posted this as my #blackandwhite picture for Day 4.

It was Friday night and I was enjoying some peace and quiet in the backyard with a glass of wine, a blanket and my Kindle.  I've been reading Mary Kay Andrews' newest book, The High Tide Club.  I got an early copy but it comes out TODAY!!  Grab your copy HERE.  Mary Kay never disappoints!

Saturday, we had absolutely nothing on the books because Mason's baseball tournament got delayed 24 hours.  The boys played outside all day long.

I cleaned out the garage a little and then moved onto to Craig's office.  Y'all.  I hate Craig's office.  He decorated it himself and he cannot help but display every single little plaque, trophy, poster, helmet, picture, football he's ever gotten.  I am ITCHING to get in there, clear it all out and start over.

And I will...someday.

But Saturday, I wanted to just get in and clear out a ton of boxes full of random papers that he had stored under his desk and in the cabinets.  It was getting way too cluttered and driving me crazy.

I got pretty ruthless which is my favorite word when it comes to decluttering.  But I did put a few things that I really WANTED to throw away, into storage.  Because I do have a heart.

While I was cleaning out the office, I was watching one of my Buffalo Bestie's, Dawn Neufeld, compete for the title of Mrs. Texas! They were streaming it live on Facebook so my pictures aren't great but it was fun to watch.  Dawn's husband, Ryan, and Craig played together in Buffalo and this girl swooped in and took me under her wing immediately.

Isn't she gorgeous?  She's also incredibly smart, talented and an advocate for autism awareness.  And she's always a ton of fun. :)

Sunday, Mason played with Nixon's select team in a tournament because they were short on players.  He thought that was just about the coolest thing ever.  We weren't sure how much he'd get to play since he was there as a sub for the most part and it was a nice long drive so he rode with the Slaughters and Erika sent me updates and pics.

I was worried about his wrist which is still bothering him but apparently it didn't affect his playing!  We have an appointment this morning though to get it x-rayed because I just can't seem to let it go and say he's fine.  I need to know for sure and my mama gut is telling me it could be something more than just a sore wrist.

We'll see!

Sunday afternoon, I was dying to get out of the house.  Craig had gotten home from a football camp in Ohio around 1am the night before so he was doing nothing but napping and relaxing on the couch all day Sunday.

I had nowhere to go really so I went to a few open houses in a neighborhood I LOVE just for fun and then hit up Target.

I came home with these $8 tees that are AH-MAZ-ING.  I literally grabbed one in every color they had and then got online and ordered more.  They are so soft and fit so cute.  I got them in a mix of smalls and mediums because I just couldn't decide which fit I liked best.  The small fit great but the medium gave me a little more room.

I will be living in these all summer, I have no doubt.

Also, I don't know if this was in-store or not but when I went to order online, they had a 3 for $20 deal.  So definitely take advantage of that!

You can find them HERE.

I also grabbed this cute little navy candle holder while I was there because I am a sucker for anything navy.

(PS:  Check out all the staples that are still stuck in my mantle from when I staple my garland in place every Christmas! Whoops.)

I'm not sure if it's going to stay there or not but I just wanted to snap a pic to show you.  It is so pretty and a gorgeous shade of blue.

And after I did that, I went outside to find more pool fun happening.  It was a great way to bookend the weekend.

This week (and the two after that) will be crazy busy with Etsy orders so if I'm M.I.A. (or my posts are lame), that's why.  ;)  I'm officially at 105 open Etsy orders plus 4 local custom sign orders.  I will be working at full capacity for a while and once the busy season has cleared, I'm definitely taking another break.

Maybe I'll redecorate Craig's office one day while he's at work. ;)

Have a great day, y'all and don't forget that you can still enter my Giveaway HERE!!  I'll announce the winners on Friday!  And yes, I said winnerS with an "S" because I added a second chance to enter over in my Facebook group!

To enter both first go HERE and then head to FB and look for the link!

Good luck!!

Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance
from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog?
I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to start.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank
    you

    1. Not at all! Start by going to blogger.com and you can set up your blog for free and quickly! I'm not technical AT ALL. Whenever I have a question or want to figure out how someone else did something on their blog, I just google the heck out of it. To start, figure out the name you want and then sign up with blogger or wordpress. I prefer blogger. I just think it's easier. Then just search through the settings so you can see all of your options. For fun themes (blog designs) and headers and stuff, search "blog design" or "Blogger template", "Blog theme"..stuff like that on Etsy. They have a ton of cute ones that are so easy to install. Hope that helps get you started!
