FRIDAY FAVORITES #102

Another week of our summer is gone, friends!  We are 3 weeks away from a new school year and as much as I LOVE summer...I'll be glad to have my house to myself again.  My kids are driving me crazy.  Is that ok to admit?  😂🤦‍♀️  Every day its a house full of noise and friends and random cups, bottles of water, trash from all their snacks and a pantry that never stays stocked.  And Nerf darts.  So.Many.NerfDarts.  They are living their best life though so I try not to fuss too much.

Hahahaha.  This is so me.

But you girls are here for Friday Favorites today, right?!  As always, I'm linking up with Erika, Narci and Andrea and bringing you some of my favorites from this week.

I ordered 2 pairs of booties from the Nordstrom Sale last week and I have full confidence in recommending these to you, friends.

Let's look...

Oooooohhhhh.....ahhhhhhhhh..... 😂

Ok, so this first pair are Toms and they are ridiculously comfortable and so easy to walk in.  The heel is a perfect height too (2.5").  Plus they are adorable!  I love the perforated style.  As soon as I tried these on, I immediately jumped online and ordered them in black too.   Right now (as I type this) they still have several sizes left in both black and tan.  I found them TTS.

The next day, my second pair arrived. Y'all, I have never in my life owned anything animal print until just recently.  I bought this cute tank at Target and wore it on vacation because on vacation, you can be anyone!  ;)  I just never felt like I could pull it off.  But I'm going to try and step out of my fashion comfort zone a little this fall. (Nothing crazy.)  SO, when I saw these leopard (cheetah?) print booties, I decided to go for it.  And I'm SO GLAD I DID!!

I love the muted colors and they will go with both black and brown so you may see these a lot this fall.  They are just as comfy as the Toms but the heel is half an inch taller.  I LOVE them.  L.O.V.E.

I ordered my normal 7.5 but some reviews say these run small and to order a half size up.  I definitely think I could have been just fine in an 8.  Also, these booties come in 6 other colors AND they are waterproof!  I really think all booties should be waterproof, shouldn't they?

Now, these jeans were the ones I talked about last week.  They are $38 in the sale and are awesome.  I'm 5'5" and (when unrolled) they hit right at my ankle, have great fading and a perfect knee rip.  However, they are showing as sold out right now but that doesn't mean they won't be back.  Keep checking, just in case!

You can find my super soft plaid top HERE.  (On major sale right now!)

Did you guys see my big Keto post Wednesday?!  If you are interested in learning more about what it is, why I do it, how I do it, what I eat...and yes, even what I weigh...go check it out!

I think I'm late to the game with this but I'm currently loving this Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin spray!  I spray it on my damp hair and it's leaving my hair so soft and shiny.  It's also a great detangler.  If you haven't tried this yet, do it!  It's A 10 has a cult following so I don't know why I was surprised!

You guys! Walmart is having the best rollbacks on Pioneer Woman stuff this week and I took advantage!  Look!

I've been wanting a new crockpot forever!  I grabbed this one for $34.99 (reg 59.99!) but it comes in so many other pretty patterns and colors too. (See them all HERE.) I also scooped up these gorgeous coasters for pretty cheap and a new pie dish because, apparently, I bake now.  Who knew?!  (I have the best Lemon Pie recipe in my post from Wednesday!)  Plus, it was 10 bucks!  (PS:  If the link says sold out just click underneath where it says "see on walmart.com".  It's not sold out.  Not sure why it keeps saying that!)

My next Keto dessert is going to be a strawberry pie and I can't wait to put it in this cute dish!

And that's it for this week, girls!  I'll have more deals up in the Facebook Group today of course, so be sure to stop by!  Next week, I've got my June & July book review coming for you since June completely got away from me and my final installment of our Branson trip recap.  If you haven't checked out my trip recaps yet, you should!  We had the greatest time and we just fell head over heels for Branson and all the family fun they have to offer.

As for this weekend, I have plans with friends on Saturday night for something so fun!!  And Craig is headed to Green Bay today for the annual Donald Driver Charity Softball Tournament with a bunch of his former teammates and my parents are coming in for a quick visit.  Yay!  I'm sure I'll be sharing it all over on Instagram so I hope to see you over there and in the Group!

Happy Friday, ladies!

  4. Hi Amanda!
I get the impression that you are very real and does not like hiding stuff from people :) So with that, I wanted to ask if you will be open to do a blog post about affiliated links? Like how did you sign up for Amazon and what sort of % did they pay out at the beginning vs now? The same for Shopstyle. What did they require from you and what sort of income can a beginner look like from blogging as a hobby. Thanks so much! - Sarah

    1. Hey Sarah! I honestly don't know enough about the details to fill a blog post but search for something like "how to use affiliate links" or something like that on Pinterest. There are tons of blog posts dedicated to that topic. Also, you can find out more about what they require through their websites. They aren't super picky. And there's no set or even estimated income for a new blogger since it'll depend on how many people are reading and how often you are linking to things.
