AMAZON HAUL #3.

Ahhhh...I love a good Amazon Haul post, don't you?  I've got my third installment today for you and let me tell you, if I were to show you EVERYTHING I've purchased from Amazon since the last one, we'd be here all.day.long.  And then some.  😂 I'm sure many of you can relate.

So I've narrowed it down to the things I've loved and/or things I feel like you'd want to see.
------------------------------------------------

I've got a pre-teen boy now.  He's 11 and just starting to get blemishes every once in a while.  Bless his heart, he's had one on his nose for over a week and I swear that thing has some major staying power. He doesn't seem all that bothered by it but (shhh...) I am.   😂  I've started him on a regular routine of using actual face wash now and bought him some Clearasil.  haha

But, I've been seeing these little pimple patches a lot lately and thought they looked like they were worth a shot, especially for the angry, stubborn zits that refuse to behave.  Or leave.

I bought these and I'm very happy to say that they really do seem to work!!  My son's "friend" was much smaller yesterday morning (after one use) and I can't wait to see how much better it looks today!

My face has broken out a little lately too and I had a blemish on my cheek that didn't seem to want to go away.  I put one on after I washed my face one night this week and you honestly, can barely even tell the patch is there!  It completely blends into your skin which I thought was awesome.  (I mean, you can't wear it in public unless you're just super brave but for around the house, it's perfect.)  You sleep with it on and it works overnight.

The next morning, that thing had shrunk to almost nothing (although, to be fair, it was still there...just much smaller) and I was a believer.  I used another the next night and after that it was just gone.  Sweet.

You can see the ones I bought HERE.

----------------------------------------------

Ok, for those of you who are totally against decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving, please forgive me.  But I'm one of those who loves to look at my Christmas decor for as long as possible.  So, I put my Christmas tree up in our bedroom.  The rest of my house is still decorated for fall but my little Happy Place (cozied up in my bed) is all merry and bright. 🎄

This is our first year to have a full-size tree in our bedroom (we had a skinny one last year) because we've had a corner bookcase there in the past.  I recently sold it though so this corner has been empty...and the tree is PERFECT there!

(Here's last years.)

I watch TV in bed every night until pretty late (Craig is not a fan of this habit) and like to keep the tree on until the last second.  When I finally decide to give in and go to sleep the last thing I want to do is climb out of bed to go unplug the lights.  #firstworldproblems So I found my solution with this dummy-proof remote set.

I plugged #1 into my outlet then plugged the tree into it and bam.  No programming needed...I just hit "on" and "off" next to the 1 on the remote and it's done!  These work all over your house and even work through walls.  I'll be plugging up our main Christmas tree and mantle lights with these as well so I can turn them all off from the comfort of my bed at night.

I mean...it's the little things, y'all. 😉  I know you can do this sort of thing with smart plugs and stuff too but I have yet to try those although they've been in my cart forever.  Why am I scared of them?!  Anyway, if you're looking for something like this, here ya go!

You can find the set I bought HERE.

PS:  I also bought this black/white buffalo check comforter set for our bed this year but I don't have any good pictures of it yet.  My room is still kind of a mess from re-decorating everything but I'll try to get some pics soon!  But it looks so cute with my buffalo plaid tree!

------------------------------------------

I told y'all about this great sweater the other day but wanted to make sure to include it today as well.  Again, it comes in a ton of colors (both solids and colorblock) and is so soft.  I don't find it itchy at all.  I'm wearing a small.  I love the high neck too.  Looks great with a messy bun and dangly earrings!

You can find the details to this whole outfit in my Shop the Blog tab HERE  along with other recent outfits.  (I got those jeans from Jane a couple of weeks ago but you can also find them on Amazon.  I've linked them in the Shop the Blog tab.)

-----------------------------------------------

I ran out of my favorite leave-in spray a couple of weeks ago and needed more.  #timetoreorder  This stuff is awesome and I found it for so much cheaper on Amazon than at Ulta or on the "It's a 10" website.  If you aren't familiar with It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product this stuff kind of does it all.  Smooths, shines, protects, softens..all that good stuff.

If you're in the market for a great leave-in conditioner or just need to restock, grab it HERE for under $12 as opposed to the $19 other places.  And no worries on it being a fake product.  The seller is the actual company so yay for that!

---------------------------------------

I told y'all about this brush on Friday Favorites awhile back and I'm still loving it!  My favorite part about it is the shape.  It totally conforms to my head and gives a good head scratch.  😂  Plus it helps detangle my hair without as much damage as my regular brush so there's that too. ;)

-----------------------------------------------

In that same Friday Favorites post, you'll also find this Amika spray which is probably my favorite new hair product.  It gives my hair a little texture and fullness all over after I curl it.  I started with the little sample size for 10 bucks but when that was gone I ordered the full size.  I love this stuff.

And speaking of Amika products, I'm also a fan of their purple shampoo which I've told you about before (it really helps keep the brassiness out of my blonde hair) but I've also started using their Soulfood Nourishing Mask as well after my stylist recommended it.

It smells yummy and leaves my hair soft and smooth.  It's just what I needed.  I use it about once a week, sometimes twice.  The reviews are awesome too so if you don't believe me, go read those!

-----------------------------------

You've heard me sing the praises of this $16.95 crossbody!  I'm not much of a bag lady and tend to lean towards things that are cute but practical and won't break the bank.  If you're like this too then you will probably love this cute purse!  It comes in 20 different colors and (so far) I have it in stone and the royal blue.

(Just a sample of all the colors.)

It's the perfect size, well made and check out that fun lining!

Here I am with it on. (Outfit details can be found HERE.)

-----------------------------------

I told you girls about these pretty little cuff earrings back in August and I have loved them (and worn the heck out of them) from the second they arrived.  I used to NEVER sleep in earrings or wear them in the shower.  But with these, it isn't an issue.  I don't feel them at all when I sleep and after wearing them many many times in the shower, they haven't tarnished in the slightest.

I love that they go with everything from yoga pants to a night out.  They come in silver, gold and rose gold and--the best part--they are just $12.95!!  These are without a doubt the most frequently used Amazon purchase I've made this year.  I honest to goodness wear these every single day unless I have to get "dressed" and want to trade them out for my bigger earrings.

----------------------------------------

I can't let an Amazon Haul pass by without mentioning my new favorite mascara!  This Lash Princess mascara is $4.99 and has replaced my $25 Chanel and Lancome faves.

It is SO GOOD!!!  If you're in my Daily Deal FB Group, then you've probably heard it mentioned over and over again and I know many of you bought it too and have said you love it!  Seriously, girls.  Try it.  You'll love it.

----------------------------------

And finally, these mesh laundry bags have saved us SO MUCH STRESS this baseball season!

Gogooda 7Pcs Mesh Laundry Bags for Delicates with Premium Zipper, Travel Storage Organize Bag, Clothing Washing Bags for Laundry, Blouse, Bra, Hosiery, Stocking, Underwear, Lingerie

I don't how it goes in your family but in the past, we have played the "I can't find my jersey/pants/socks" game before every baseball/football/basketball game.  Typically, the pants are still in the dirty clothes hamper, the jersey is in the clean clothes basket and the socks are nowhere to be found.  Or some combination of that.  And we all lose our minds trying to find everything and end up being late or rushed.  But after I bought these mesh bags, we have had no none of that.

After every game, the boys take off their uniform, put it in a mesh bag and throw it in the hamper.  (Ok, let's be honest.  I come into the bathroom while they are showering, gather up all the dirty pieces scattered all over the floor, put them in the bag and into the hamper.  They do it themselves maybe 2 out of 10 times. haha)

Anyway, when it's time to wash, the whole bag gets tossed into the washing machine and then the dryer and then goes into the special sports basket we keep on the laundry room counter.  (This way everything sports-related is all in one place and downstairs, ready to go.) Nothing leaves the bag until it's time to put uniforms on before a game.  That way it's all together, all the time and easy to find when you're digging through the dryer or clean clothes.

So simple.  Yet so effective.  I use these for Matthew's PE uniform(s) too so they don't get mixed in with everything else and he can't find it when he needs it.

Seriously cannot recommend them enough to all you sports mamas but these would also be so good at keeping other things organized like if you wanted to sort stuff by child or separate undies and socks.  They come in a pack 7 in varying sizes and are just $8.99.  That's a win for this mama.

Other random but excellent Amazon purchases that deserve a mention:

Boys socks
Boys Under Armour tees (great price)
Eyebrow Tattoo Pen thing (not sure what to call it but I love it)
White Noise Machine
Bum Bum Cream (Super moisturizing and smells AMAZING.  And not just for your bum. I use it as a body moisturizer.  People will ask who smells so good.)

And that's all for Haul #3!  You can find Hauls 1 & 2 HERE.

Now tell me!!  What's one of your favorite Amazon purchases from lately?  (Or all-time!)  Inquiring minds want to know!

Have a great day, friends!

  1. Thanks for all the Amazon ideas! I love the crossbody bag. There were a few reviews saying the strap came off. Do you think it's sturdy? I have a link up for Amazon Prime Purchases - I'd love for you to come link up! Tanya - The Other Side of the Road

    1. I'm so surprised to hear that! I personally haven't had a single problem with either of mine and I've been using them daily for months. Not saying it can't happen I guess but neither of mine have had a problem. And thanks for the link up!! I'll definitely head on over!

  4. YOU were RIGHT!!! I bought that mascara a couple weeks ago and threw out my Lancome and my other "miraculous" fiber wand mascara. I am in love with this one especially since I have blonde lashes and they are thin! THANK YOU!!

  5. "Eyebrow tattoo pen thing"... lol! Sounds like how I describe things! I got questions though. It says microblading- does it trim/cut your eyebrows as you apply it? It is gel or something else like liner? And the mascara- would you say it's more for volume/thickness or lengthening? I mean, I've seen so many great reviews of it I'll probably buy it either way just to see what all the hype is about, but I'm curious! Those laundry bags are such a great idea, as well as the remote for your tree! Stopping by from the link-up :)

    1. It's just like a liquid eyebrow pencil type of thing but the tip is made so that when it's applied, it gives the appearance of your natural eyebrows. It mimics the look of microblading without the commitment. But it's just a pen/pencil. And I'd say the mascara definitely gives both volume and length. I've never heard of anyone who doesn't love it! For 5 bucks, its worth a shot! :)
