Friday Favorites #3. {3.17.17}

I love Friday Favorites posts!!  I'm linking up with my girls Erika, Narci and Andrea and I've got several from this week so let's get started!
HULU

My Etsy shop is booming which I could not be more thankful for.  It is everything I've always wanted although it does drive me crazy at times!  But I love it and I am so grateful for my sweet customers and those people who support me and share my business!  But booming business also means I'm working a LOT of hours.  And I need entertainment!

One of the things that keeps me from stressing out too much when I've just knocked over a can of paint onto my carpet (for the third time...) is watching MIND NUMBING TV.  Not everything I watch while I work is mind numbing but let's face it.  Anything I'm watching on Bravo is not making me any smarter.  And right now, it's the Real Housewives of NYC.

The Real Housewives of New York City are in my top 3 Housewives franchies (along with the OC and New Jersey) and I wanted to go back to the very beginning and binge watch all the seasons! But I didn't know how!  And I certainly wasn't going to buy the DVDs on amazon (if they even sell them there?). So I googled it trying to figure out where I could watch them and discovered Hulu.

I've always heard of Hulu but I never really knew what it was.  I think I'm a little late to the party! But now it is my FAVORITE!!  First of all, you get your first two weeks FREE (to get you nice and hooked obviously!) and then after that it's only like $12 a month (if you splurge for the commercial free which...duh.  Who wants commercials?).  It has every episode of all the Real Housewives franchises plus so many of my favorite old shows!!  Next on my list to watch is Ugly Betty, Samantha Who?, Desperate Housewives, The Mindy Project...  I'm going to be entertained for a very long time.  :)  Hulu is like Netflix but 10x better.  To sign up for the free 2 week trial, you can go here and learn more about it.  If you love to binge watch old favorites, you MUST check it out!!  It's also got all the current shows on there too.  I'm telling you, you can't go wrong.

Bethenny is my favorite.  She's so REAL, successful and hilarious which I absolutely love.

Mix & Match Mama's Pineapple Muffins

I can't remember if Shay told me about these muffins when I was (most likely) complaining about how I hate to cook, or if I randomly found them on her blog one day when I was searching for easy recipes. But we LOVE them around here!  Shay calls them Pineapple Muffins but I have to call them Pineapple Cupcakes (minus the frosting) because I'll eat way more than I should if I think they are just muffins.

If you like Pineapple Upside Down Cake, you will love these!!  Click here for Shay's recipe (and much better pictures) or just follow these simple instructions.
  • Preaheat your oven to 350.
  • Grab a box of yellow cake mix and a 20oz can of crushed pineapple.  Dump both in a large mixing bowl. You don't even need to drain the pineapples!
  • If you feel like it, bust out the electric mixer to combine the ingredients.  I just stirred it by hand until it looked thoroughly mixed.  (#thelazychef)
  • Put cupcake liners in your muffin tins (enough for about 18 so you may need two trays unless you have gigantic one like me).
  • Pour batter 3/4 of the way full.  Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when you insert it.
They are so good warm, room temperature or cold!  I made the mistake the first time of not putting these in the fridge after we made them and they got super gooey quick.  To maintain the integrity of the cake, I'd suggest putting them in the fridge.  They will get a delicious slightly gooey texture on top by the next day and it is the BEST.  YUMMMM...  Mason and I have been eating them all week.  They would be fantastic with a cream cheese frosting with maybe a few more pineapple chunks on top?  Thank you, Shay!!

That Inspired Chick

New goodies I made this week are always my favorite!  Click HERE for my full shop or click on the individual pics for the direct link to the listing.

This custom request made me laugh!  But did you DIE?!  Most often done with a name but I'm happy to do custom requests.

Mama Bear Glitter Dipped Travel Mug

New Jewelry

My new bracelet came in!!!  I LOVE it.  Love love love love it!!!  I adore royal blue especially when mixed with some green and this did not disappoint!  I love how it adjusts in the back so you can make it as loose or tight as you'd like.  And since it is Kendra Scott, you know it is extremely well made.  It has a great weight to it.  Go here to check out all the colors this beauty comes in!

Speaking of Kendra Scott FAVORITES, I am obsessed with these gold earrings so I had to include them!  I don't feel too bad about spending money on quality pieces like these, especially when I know I can wear them with everything.  I've always loved big earrings and colorful earrings (and big, colorful earrings)! These also come in a slightly smaller size and in silver and rose gold as well.

My FAVORITE Workout Wear (A.K.A. Errand Running Wear/Lounge Wear/Work Wear)

These were a late add to my favorites list but I realized I've been wearing them a lot this week so they were definitely worth mentioning.  These are SO comfortable and super cute!  I love the high waist that helps smooth out things a little but the banded cuffs at the bottom are what set these apart from so many others that look similar.  These also have mesh panels on the sides that let your legs breathe a little. You can check out more pics here.

You know how when you find something you love and you panic thinking they may stop making it at some point so you want to stock up?  That's how I feel about these.  I am going to order a second pair this week.  Just in case.  ;)

Hope you loved some of my favorites!!  If you blogged about your favorites today, let me know!  I'd love to check them out!

Have a great weekend!!
