Happy Friday, girls!! I am so excited for my weekend!! I'm taking the boys to my hometown (Texarkana, TX) for my BFF's baby shower! This girl deserves an entire post devoted to her, her adventures and her crazy love story so I may share that next week.
I don't get to see her very much since she lives in Louisiana now but every time we see each other, it's like no time has passed.
That's definitely the mark of a true best friend forever. :)
Anyway.
My first favorite was found when I was wasting time researching stuff for this blog post. ;)
I couldn't help but share because y'all know I love anything that makes me laugh. And these signs will definitely make you laugh. Or at least make you cock your head and raise your eyebrows.
Hmmm....ok???
Sign not in use??
Please don't be that guy.
And finally....
Wait. WHAT??? I actually had to read this twice before getting it. #theshame
Now this one is a SUPER FAVORITE. Quite possibly an all-time favorite.
My kids cannot keep their shoes tied for anything. Especially my 7-year-old. If it were just that their shoes were untied, I wouldn't care so much. But when their shoes are untied, they step on them and the ends of the laces eventually break off. And THAT drives me a little nuts.
The boys just got new shoes a couple of weeks ago and within days their shoelaces were looking rough. I hopped on Amazon and found these amazing little things and am kicking myself so. freaking. hard. for not using them for the past 5 years.
These super cool laces are amazing. You lace them up the way you would do normal laces but they never come untied! And your kids can slip their shoes on and off and tighten or loosen the laces as they need so easily!
My boys are LOVING them. If you have young kids and are dealing with the whole shoe tying drama as well, YOU NEED THESE!! #thankmelater
And as a former PE teacher, I know they will thank you as well. ;)
So easy to "install". Just make sure your child is wearing the shoe before you cut! I made that mistake and cut way too short and had to buy a second pair. Learn from my mistake, friends.
I was doing some Facebook scrolling the other day and saw one of my friends talking about these little silicone patches. I've heard about these before but not paid too much attention. But she was RAVING about them and since I love a fun beauty product that is getting great reviews, I decided to try them.
I started out with the neck patch because my poor neck could use some help. Genetics SUCKS sometimes. (But other times, it's quite nice! #boobs #thanksMom)
Anyway.
I bought this cool silicone neck patch thing and have been using it for a couple of weeks. And I LOVE it! My neck is much less "crepe-y" and the skin feels thicker and more supple.
Who knew something so simple could help! I highly recommend this! Yes, it will feel super weird the first time you put it on. But I just put it on right before I go to sleep and I got used to it within 2 nights.
The patch is clear and can be reused up to 15 times. Mine is still going strong after almost 2 weeks. I make sure to use a good toner before I put it on and wash it after each use.
So then I ordered the eye and smile patches...
And the chest patch! I am a major side and stomach sleeper. I seriously will wake up in the middle of the night and think to myself "I really need to roll to my back because I know I'm getting so wrinkled right now!". And then immediately say "forget it" and fall back asleep.
I feel soooo much better now that I have this thing going on to help prevent those deep wrinkles! If you haven't tried these silicone patches, you absolutely should!
If you missed my posts from earlier this week, I raved about Hulu, what you should be watching and how I deal with birthday presents for my kids' friends.
Be sure to go here to see what my favorite show is right now and here to see how I do easy kid gifts.
And I can't leave a Friday Favorites post without mentioning my very own shop. These were just a few fun orders that went out this week! All can be found HERE on Etsy! :)
(Some may be sold out at the moment but should be available within the next few weeks!)
I also had a ton of sign orders that went out this week but didn't get any pictures of them! This next picture was the start of my work week though. So glad I love what I do.
So that's it for this week, friends! Be sure to follow me on Instagram @amandanall for our fun in Texarkana this weekend and @thatinspiredchick for all the latest in my shop!
Happy Friday!
Also linking up with the Five Things Friday girls!
I'm really intrigued with the silicone patches! So cool!
ReplyDeleteI need more information about these patches. What’s happening while you sleep? Seriously, text me! They sound a little bit like those Rodan and Fields’ products but they were a one time use?!
ReplyDeleteBuying those shoe laces for my kids, now!
ReplyDeleteHave so much fun this weekend!!!! I hope it's sunny there :) .
ReplyDeleteThose cups are so cute! I love them!
ReplyDeleteThat's my cup up there! It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteA Texas Reunion sounds fab (how I wish I was going back to TX this week-end!). The silicon neck (etc) patches look fab - my neck is going a bit 'less taut' should we put it (and I too have a Mum and Grandma whose necks did the same) and definitely appreciate this share! Have a FAB time in Texas - who wouldn't! Europafox x
ReplyDeleteMy husband would crack up if I slept with that many patches :) Have the best weekend!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! That's very true! Mine would too if he saw me! But he goes to sleep before me and wakes up before me so he has no idea. ;) Although he would absolutely make fun of me if he did see them!
DeleteHi Amanda- I am a new fan of your blog :) I actually would like to go to your Etsy shop and buy some of those drink bottles for an upcoming girls' trip- do you do rush orders? I would need them here in NH by Monday March 5th. Thank you! Holly P.S My email if it is easier is [email protected]
ReplyDeleteHi Holly! I do have a "Rush My Order" listing that you can add on. It is on the first page of my shop and there is also a link to it in most of the listings as well. :) Message me on Etsy if you have any questions! www.thatinspiredchick.etsy.com
