WHAT I'M WATCHING. {THE FALL LINEUP}

Yes!  NOW it's starting to feel like fall!  Last night was the season premiere for some of my favorite fall shows and some potential new faves!  It just doesn't feel like fall until premiere week.

Here's what I'll be watching.

MONDAY:

Did you catch the season premiere of 9-1-1 Sunday night?!  It totally snuck up on me and I missed it!  But I did catch Episode 2 last night and it was soooooooooo goooooood!!  (Yes, I needed all those "o"s to make my point.  It was that good.)  I'll catch up on Episode 1 today while I work.

This was one of my absolute favorite new shows last year and I'm so excited it's back!  This show is not lacking in drama.  It's kind of a cross between Chicago Fire and Grey's Anatomy with some Adam Braverman goodness thrown in.  It's perfection.

I had goosebumps the whole time during last night's episode and I definitely cried a little at least twice. This show is amazing y'all so set your DVR's!!

I know you can catch the full first season on Hulu right now if you want to binge watch it.  #andyousould  If you don't have Hulu, you can use my link to try it for free for 2 weeks!  Hulu is my best friend during the fall when my DVR is too full to record everything I want to see.  It has almost everything on it the next day plus past seasons and I can watch it all on my laptop since I don't have a DVR or On Demand up in my craft room where I work.  I've re-watched all the Real Housewives franchises on Hulu too by the way.  Those are fun to binge-watch!

Moving on.

Next up was Manifest.

This is a new series that premiered last night and whoa!  If you haven't seen the previews for this one it's about a plane that takes off from Jamaica, hits a little patch of turbulence during the flight but nothing major, and then when they land, it's 5.5 years later and none of them have aged a single day.  They had all been declared dead for years.

Now they've all got some kind of 6th sense that helps them sense danger and do good in the world.

So intriguing!!!

I'm already completely hooked after the first episode. You need to watch this one too!

I also love The Resident but will watch that today while I work on orders.  I'd call it a mix between Grey's and House.  (I used to love that show!)

TUESDAY:

How excited is everyone for the premiere of THIS IS US!?!!

If you don't watch this show, I'm really not sure we can be friends.  ;)

If you are one of these people, I know you've already had your friends, your mama, your neighbor, your coworkers, and probably even your mailman tell you how amazing it is.  So I'll just tell you to believe them, catch up on Season 1 and get yourself on board because you will not regret it.  And why has Mandy Moore been missing from my TV all this time?!  She's so beautiful and was born for this role.  Big fan of this entire cast.

Another new show I'll be recording is New Amsterdam.  Of course, it's another medical drama but medical dramas just work.  So I don't blame them for pumping out one after the other.  I'll totally watch them all.

WEDNESDAY:

It's the Big Brother finale!!  And we have to have a little bit of BB talk.  (Just keep scrolling if you don't watch.)

Who are you rooting for?!  I am #teamkaycee or #teamtyler for sure.  JC is highly entertaining (remember "dumb bass"?? hahahaha), he doesn't deserve to win or even be in the final 2.  He's a floater.  BUT if you are Tyler or Kaycee, what do you do if you win the final comp?!  Who do you choose to go to the final 2 with you?  Choose JC and you are basically GUARANTEED the money.  Let's be real.  He'll never win.  (Knock on wood.)  But if your conscience gets to you, you will probably choose your BFF and that only gives you a 50/50 chance because then both of you are equally deserving. I feel for them!

I know I've posted this gif before of JC but he makes me laugh.  (Also, have you been reading about the trouble he's been getting into in the house though?  Eek.  Google it.  I'm going to lose my audience if I keep talking about this!  haha)

Wednesday is also the premiere of some of my favorite comedies! American Housewife, The Goldbergs and Modern Family!

I heard they are killing off a main character this season!  I hope that's just for hype though.

And then they have turned Wednesday night into 3 hours of the "Chicago" franchise. So now we get Chicago Fire (MUST WATCH), Chicago Med (never watched but will) and Chicago PD (I've watched some).  If you have to pick between the 3, go with Fire, if only for Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney).  Or Matt Casey.  Trust me.

THURSDAY:

If you need more good sitcoms in your life, Mom and The Good Place are where it's at!  Anna Farris and Kristen Bell, friends.  You can't go wrong. The Good Place is weird and twisty and hilarious and I can't wait to see where they take it this season.  Start with Season 1 if you haven't watched before!

And how many of you have stuck with Grey's Anatomy all this time...through all those deaths...and almost deaths...and coming back from the dead deaths...

I'm talkin' to you, Meredith Grey.

I haven't missed a season, even when it's gotten a little slow.  I am invested y'all, so I'll stick it out to the end.

I am nothing if not loyal.

FRIDAY:

The only thing that I care about on Friday is the new season of Hell's Kitchen.  Gordon Ramsey is great television and any show he's on, I'll watch.  I don't watch every season of Hell's Kitchen but it's great to have on the backburner when I've got nothing else to watch.  Masterchef Jr is actually my favorite!

So, I know after all this, you're probably thinking "WHEN do you watch all this?!".  Because it sounds like a lot, I know.  Remember, my main job is my Etsy shop.  So I am painting or glittering or decal-ing SOMETHING all day long while my kids are at school and even after school when they run off to terrorize the neighborhood with their friends. (Kidding. Their whole group is full of really great kids.)  But this means I am free to watch TV or listen to audiobooks while I work and am home alone.  So that definitely helps.

Also, I'm a crazy person and stay up way too late every single night.  I don't know why I do this to myself.  It's just my thing. I can easily knock out 2 or 3 DVR'd shows a night if I fast-forward through the commercials.  I can't remember the last time I watched live TV other than sports!  And the hubs can sleep through anything so it's all good.

Plus, with Hulu, I can watch all these current shows on my phone while I'm cooking, cleaning, brushing my teeth etc.  Just like with my beloved audiobooks.

So no mean comments about how much TV I watch, y'all!  Be nice!  ;)  Just because I like a lot of different things doesn't mean I'm ignoring my family or anything crazy.  I usually wait until the boys are in bed to even turn on my favorite shows because I don't want to miss anything good due to the nightly Nerf war or wrestling match going on around me. ;)  It just means I stay up way too late and regret it in the morning.

So those are my top choices for this week's premiers.  Will you be watching any of them?  All of them?  Let me know if there's something I've missed that deserves a chance.

And yes, I'm definitely watching all things Bravo and can't wait for the new season of Below Deck.  If you've been reading here for awhile then you know that goes without saying. ;)

Here's the lineup for you if you want to take a look!

I have no idea if you'll be able to zoom in enough on this picture but if you click this link it'll take you to a bigger picture where you can really zoom in on the squares to read them easily.

Happy watching, friends!

I WATCH MORE TV THAT YOU DO! No judging here! I work outside the home, 10 hour days, 4 days a week, and I have a Hubby and son. I love TV! I also love books, podcasts and crafting. And, I think Kaycee is going to win Big Brother! JC was just lucky to have won that HOH challenge. Are you going to watch Survivor?

  10. We have many of the same favorites when it comes to TV shows! Love Greys Anatomy and continue to watch it after all these years. 911 is such a great show, and Chicago Fire is my favorite of the 3 too. Kelly Severide is so easy on the eyes! ;) I'm looking forward to watching This is Us like the rest of the world. My husband and I really got into The Resident, and I'm interested to see where it's going this season. I've never heard of Manifest or New Amsterdam, so I'm definitely going to check them out. I like this seasonal TV post!
